Mount Carmel science department took 140 Year 9 pupils to Jodrell Bank in Cheshire which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and site of the UK’s largest radio telescope.

The visit aimed to enrich the Space curriculum which is taught in Year 9. During the day pupils visited the space dome cinema, explored interactive exhibits and listened to a presentation about the Lovell Telescope.
