Mount Carmel’s Chaplaincy and Charity Representatives have had a very busy first term, raising money for their chosen charities while supporting our local community and parish churches. Year 7 and Year 8 have shown great commitment through fundraising for Caritas and CAFOD, Year 10 have generously created and delivered hampers to Mount Carmel families, and Year 9 organised their own clothes day to support one of our own pupils – alongside many other charitable events throughout the term.

Term One highlights include:

  • Year 8 CAFOD Bake Sale – £167
  • Local Parish Donation [St Anne’s and St Joseph’s and St Mary’s Oswaldtwistle] – £1,000
  • Year 9 Own Clothes Day – £1,240
  • CAFOD Donation – £500
  • Year 7 Caritas Sleepover – £948

We have raised a total of £2,555 this term!
